Day 3

We went to the Temple last night and so my picture for the day was Jacob and I in front of the Los Angeles Temple. It was too dark to see anything but us.

Day 2

This post is going to include pictures I took two days ago, so day 0 and day 2 of my photo journal. They both have to do with food preparation. Madelynn helped me make carmel apples on Tuesday and today we made Manicotti.

And the beautiful apples.

I think it is funny that I have yet to actually attempt to USE photoshop to edit any of my pictures yet.....hmmm!!

Day 1

This is day one of my photo project. I am very excited to both capture the every day activities of my family and perhaps become a better photographer. Now that Amanda has photoshop on her computer, I can learn how to make the pictures I take even better.

So this day, September 23, 2009, my dad surprised us with a visit. He came to town to help Ben with his brakes and the nice thing about Ben living across the street is that they fixed his car in my driveway. Papa was more than happy to let Madelynn and Katherine get their fingers greasy and start their careers as mechanics. When I was a little girl I remember sitting with my dad late into the evenings watching him fix our cars or his trucks. As I got older he started teaching me how to do things such as change a tire, breakpads, clutch, of course oil and other fluids and lots of other stuff that I can't remember what they are called, but I fondly remember spending time with my dad. So it is very awing to me to see my little girls getting greasy with my dad.

We also went to the fair today and we had a great time. The highlights included seeing a baby cow minutes after birth, Maddy got her face painted for the first time ever, got to see goats and cows, did the itsy-bitsy-spider for the camera, and we ate a tower of french fries and a cinnamon roll.

Project 365

I want to set a goal to take a picture every day. I want the picture to tell a story without words of the ins and outs of my life. A journal through pictures.
